This book is about ups and downs of a motorcycle enthusiast and how motorcycling has changed, also some of the experiences in life and motorcycling. This book starts from when I turned 13 until the present.
The book covers many of the things I have done in life which are many, but since I never thought to keep any type of records there are a lot of things that I have forgotten in the last 40 plus years.Have had a lot of experiences both on the road and overseas and have met a lot of good people and some not so good. I have well over a half a million miles on motorcycles and probably closer to three quarters of a million but once you get so many miles under your belt you really stop keeping track.
I lived in a bachelor house about 7 years which 3 out of the four of us rode. We had a very diverse crowd of people coming over at all hours of the night if you know what I mean. We called it the Highland Heights Gentleman”s Club. Some people would disagree with the name as far as gentleman goes.
The reason I wrote this book is because every time I would tell a story somebody would say why don”t I write a book and so here it is. Also I had done so many different jobs and trades I listed them in the back of the book for you non-believers.I printed up about 50 copies of this book non-edited and sold them this past summer to see what kind of response I would receive before getting it professionally published. I received a positive review so here it is. One quick story about one of the people who bought one from me a rest stop somewhere in Missouri. She called me about 3 weeks ago from New Hampshire. She said it was one of the funniest books she had ever read and I told her that it wasn”t a comedy but a autobiography and she said that is why it was so funny.
