The Causeway Coastal Route and the Mourne Coastal Route stretch around the entire coast of Northern Ireland and provide some of the best scenery on the island of Ireland. With the world renowned Giant’s Causeway at its heart, the routes also feature the Mountains of Mourne, the Walled City of Derry, the Titanic Experience, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, the Bushmills Distillery, and many more sights, stories, and legends that make these routes so special. With his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and a map, Eugene O’Loughlin (author of Exploring Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way) set out on a trip of discovery from Derry to Newry. Along the way he explored breath-taking scenery and discovered locations associated with the legends of the Children of Lir, Finn McCool, and St Patrick. With many photographs throughout highlighting the many points of interest, this book is the essential guide to exploring the Causeway and Mourne Coastal Routes.
