Traveling through Africa by motorcycle can be an exhilarating, adventurous and at the same time difficult experience. Africa’s diverse landscapes, cultures, and wildlife make it a fantastic destination for motorbike enthusiasts looking for a unique and challenging journey. However, it’s important to be well-prepared and take necessary precautions, as motorcycle travel in Africa can present various challenges.

I have now undertaken probably about 70-80 trips in all, mostly across Kenya (70%), clocking in excess of 300,000-km. I have also had the opportunity to visit twelve countries in Africa by bike, and I will narrate those trips, one by one, in this book.
