This is the story of a journey on motorbikes by two friends from leafy Surrey to Yaroslavl in Russia. Nothing complicated, nothing overly adventurous, nevertheless riding five thousand miles could be described by many as exciting enough, particularly since it was the author’s first ride after a 38 year lay-off.
The author’s account of the trip, from preparation through to its successful conclusion, highlights and discusses in some detail many of the issues that will confront anyone planning a similar trip. It’s informative, entertaining and inspirational.
